Guys, gals, concerned citizens of Birmingham, curious citizens of Birmingham, you, you, and you:
Those valiant young folks over at Catalyst have set up the ultimate “midweek mingle”. Tomorrow evening Mayor William Bell will be at ABOVE, The Redmont Hotel Rooftop, at 5 p.m. That’s right…this is your chance to get the “up close and personal” version of our Magic City Mayor.
The “Roundtable Discussion” (a.k.a. Happy Hour) will start at 5 p.m., followed by a brief reception beginning at 6 p.m. (The reception will be in honor of Bell’s appearance on the April cover of Birmingham Magazine. Hmph…I’m hoping the Mayor will share something with us tomorrow evening that will be a bit more substantial and worthy of celebration, other than his mag cover debut. We shall see, eh?!)
There will be live music. There will be a splendid view of the Magic City. No doubt there will be a few issues of Birmingham Magazine to check out.
If you have something you’ve been wanting to say/ask our (still kind of) newly elected city leader, well, here’s your chance.
See you out and ABOVE the city. Oh, and don’t forget – after we’ve mingled with the Mayor, we’ll make our way over to YP Birmingham’s COLOR Your Birmingham event at the lovely Woodrow Hall. Sounds like a full evening!
