Picture this:
Five people. One local restaurant. As many burgers as their mouths can feed. Endless conversation…
I mean, can it get any better?
Enter:
The Burger Coalition.
This brand new spin on a hyperlocal supper club launches today, May 1. And here’s how it works…
Each month, five seats will be available at a Birmingham (or Atlanta) eatery. (An eatery, specifically, that serves up great burgers.)
My (current) favorite B'ham burger, found at Saw's Soul Kitchen, Avondale, served up with a side of deviled eggs.
The goal is to foster community with new friends and fellow food lovers. You pay for your own meal, but the conversation is free.
James Martin, one of the two TBC founders, says,
“Living in the south, food and dialogue are prominent. We want to garner a collective of folks that enjoy conversation over a common meal, while also spotlighting the communities we represent.”
So there you have it.
“Meet new people. Eat amazing burgers.”
Southern Living is already all over it, y’all.
