Each Wednesday I’ll offer up a few of my favorite online sources.  Perhaps I’ll follow a theme each week (design, local, cuisine…any ideas?). 

On this “episode” of Wednesday Links I’ll focus on who I’ve been tuning into since I landed here in the Magic City.

B-Metro – THE magazine for Metro Birmingham living.  Period.

Wade on Birmingham - Wade Kwon knows Birmingham.  Native, writer, editor, journalist and self-proclaimed raconteur, Kwon delivers hot topics from the metro area, as well as regular haiku for your viewing pleasure.  Kwon is also the founder of Birmingham Blogging Academy.  (Wade, might I be eligible for a scholarship?)  Follow Wade on Twitter or visit  his other site: WadeKwon.com.

Birmingham Mommy - This collaborative, mom-saavy blog features input from a network of Birmingham mommies and includes the latest info on products, classes, discounts, and special events for Magic City moms and their beloved offspring.  Always packed with info and insight, Birmingham Mommy can be found on Facebook, Twitter, or at BirminghamMommy.com.

Foodimentary – Birmingham-based food guru, John-Bryan Hopkins, delivers daily culinary tips and tidbits via Twitter and Facebook.  His passion for food is evident on his website, Foodimentary.com.  My own personal obsession with JBH can be found here, 11 Bonita Drive, a pictorial journal of his immaculately renovated Spanish Revival in the lovely Hollywood community.  Bon Appetit!

The Social Path - If the vast universe that is social media makes you glad, then David Griner is your guy.  Griner is the social media strategist for Luckie & Company and contributing editor to Adweek’s blog, AdFreak.com.  Follow this online trendsetter via Twitter for all the latest in modern-day advertising and social media outreach.

G the Realtor - Looking for a home in the Magic City?  Gusty Gulas is a broker/realtor with Realty South and specializes in first-time homebuyers, foreclosures, and investors.  Keep up with G the Realtor on his blog or via Twitter for all the latest in Birmingham real estate.
